All about Noel
Noel and his wife Ela divide their time between Queenstown in New Zealand and Ela's home in Poland. With grandchildren on both sides of the globe, they're continually chasing summer - playing in Europe mid year and returning to New Zealand for Christmas.
Noel in Poland
Noel's music is attracting quite a following in Poland where they refer to him as "The Kiwi Johnny Cash". He often plays with legendary keyboard player Jacek Prokopowicz and they've played some impressive gigs.
History
Noel and his friends built a loyal fan base playing gigs throughout New Zealand's South Island for many years. As Custer's Last Band they usually brought the house down with their unique country blues style which Noel calls "Rockacowblues".
A modern travelling minstrel
When he's downunder Noel's often based on his boat, a stunning fifty foot schooner called Lady Sterling. She makes a great home and gives Noel the opportunity to travel and perform at some out of the way locations.
