Welcome to Noel's website
Noel Coutts is unique - a musician, poet and storyteller who lives on a boat. This site introduces the kiwi blues legend.
Noel and his friends built a loyal fan base playing regular gigs at McNeil's pub in Queenstown for many years. As Custer's Last Band they could bring the house down with their unique country blues style Noel calls "Rockacowblues".
These days Noel's based on his boat. He travels and performs a great solo act in a variety of locations. You might be lucky enough to catch him in Queenstown, Wellington, Christchurch, the Marlborough Sounds, Bluff, Invercargill or even on Stewart Island.
A modern travelling minstrel
Noel owns a stunning fifty foot schooner called Lady Sterling. She makes a great home and gives Noel the opportunity to travel the country and perform at some out of the way locations.Noel has recently become a grandad twice over and describes himself as a lucky man who's fortunate to combine two of his greatest passions - sailing and performing live music.
